JUST IN: Military declares eight wanted over killing of soldiers

The Defence Headquarters has announced that eight individuals are being sought after for their involvement in the recent slaying of 17 military personnel in Delta State.

The military disclosed the list during a briefing held on Thursday in Abuja.

Those identified as wanted individuals include Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (also known as Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Oghenerukeywe, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.

At the briefing, Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Delta and neighboring states, to provide the military with credible information that could lead to the apprehension of the eight individuals allegedly involved in the killing of seventeen soldiers in Okuama community, Delta State.

General Buba emphasized the military’s unwavering determination to apprehend the perpetrators of this atrocious act in Delta State, reiterating its commitment to rescuing all kidnapped and abducted victims across Nigeria.
