JUST IN: Nigeria defeats Sierra Leone to seal AFCON qualification

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), after defeating Sierra Leone by 3 goals in Monrovia.

A 19 minute goal by Victor Osimhen get the match going and another one at 32 minutes by Osimhen again made it look like it was going to be an easy win for the Super Eagles.

But Sierra Leone Captain Mustapha Bundu goal at 41 minutes gave the Leone stars hope before their 83 minutes equaliser changed game.

After it began looking like Nigeria would have no other choice than to settle for a draw, Kelechi Iheanacho scored at extra time to give the Super Eagles the victory of the match.
