Hundreds of Rivers State women rallied in favour of the state’s declaration of emergency on Monday, swarming Port Harcourt’s streets, particularly the crowded Aba Road.
At around 8 a.m., the women, wearing white to represent peace, began their walk from Garrison Bus Stop.
The women carried various placards, which contained messages supporting the Sole Administrator, Vice-Admiral Ibok Ibas (retd) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s intervention, which they said ended executive rascality in the state.
