JUST IN: Tahir Munguno replaces Ali Ndume as Senate chief whip

Senator Tahir Munguno has assumed the position of Senate Chief Whip, succeeding Senator Ali Ndume.

Following a voice vote, the upper chamber unanimously decided to replace Senator Ndume after the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, read a letter from the APC National Headquarters citing concerns over Senator Ndume’s remarks.
