JUST IN: Utomi steps down for Obi as Labour Party holds Presidential primary

Professor Pat Utomi, a presidential aspirant, has stepped down for his Labour Party co-contender, Mr Peter Obi, ahead of the upcoming general elections.

On Monday, at the party’s presidential primary in Asaba, Delta State, the political economist and management expert announced his resignation for the former Anambra State governor.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

He emerged at Labour Party’s Convention and presidential primary held in Asaba, Delta State.

Utomi announced that Obi is a younger aspirant with the capacity to effect the needed change in the Nigerian system.
