Kano Chinese community condemns killing of Ummukhulsum Buhari
The Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria has condemned the alleged killing of Ummukhulsum Buhari by a Chinese National and her lover Geng Quanrong.
The association, led by Wakilin Mutanen China a Kano, Mr Mike Zhang, issued the condemnation in a statement signed on his behalf by his Personal Assistant, Mr Guang Lei, on Monday.
According to CBCAN, the action was completely condemnable and a criminal act that should be handled professionally by relevant security agencies.
“The Chinese community in Kano is fully in support of the law taking its proper course,” the statement said.
The association also appreciated the hospitality extended to the members of the Chinese Community in Kano adding that Chinese Nationals will continue to be law-abiding, friendly and contribute to the development of Kano.
In the statement, the community then condoled the family of the deceased Ummukhulthum Buhari.
Recall that a Chinese National, Quanrong, 47, of Nassarawa GRA Quarters Kano, went to the residence of Ummukulsum, 22, on Friday night and stabbed her to death.
