Kano Government reshuffles portfolios of permanent secretaries

Permanent secretaries in the state were reorganized by the Kano State Head of Civil Service on Thursday with immediate effect.

The redeployment of the senior officers in the State Civil Service was approved by the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, according to a statement released on Thursday by Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, director of the Head of Service’s office of public awareness.

The statement read, “Ali Sani Fane, Permanent Secretary from Salary and Wages Directorate, OHCS has been deployed to Establishment Directorate, OHCS”.

“Magaji Lawan Bebeji, Permanent Secretary newly appointed to Salary and Wages Directorate, OHCS”

“Sani Abdullahi Kofar Mata, Permanent Secretary from Civil Service Commission to Council Affairs SSGs Office”.

“Engr Muhammad Adamu, Permanent Secretary from Deputy Governor’s Office to Policy, Strategy and Implementation Directorate”.

“Sani Bashir Yola, Permanent Secretary from Ministry Of Commerce to Ministry Of Information”.

“Salisu M Gabasawa, Permanent Secretary from Policy, Strategy and Implementation Directorate to the Deputy Governor’s Office”.

“Balarabe Hassan Karaye, Permanent Secretary from Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to Civil Service Commission”.

“Engr Muhd Bello Shehu, Permanent Secretary newly appointed to Bureau for Public Procurement”.

“Mairo Audi Danbatta, Permanent Secretary now appointed to Ministry Of Commerce”.

“Dr Hadi Bala, Permanent Secretary from Special Duties, SSG’s Office has been deployed to Ministry of Youth & Sports”.

“Kabiru S. Magami, Permanent Secretary from Ministry Of Youth and Sports to AGS, SSG’s Office”.

“The posting takes immediate effect, all handing/taking over are expected to be concluded on or before Wednesday, July 6, 2022”.

“The deployment/alignment of Permanent Secretary was approved by His Excellency, the Executive Governor Of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and signed by the Head Of Civil Service, Usman Bala Muhammad”.
