Lagos socialite Afolabi Kazeem, popularly known as KC Luxury, has filed a lawsuit against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), seeking N190 million in damages over his arrest and continued detention.

KC Luxury is also asking the Federal High Court to grant him bail as he contests what he described as his prolonged detention by the anti-drug agency.

According to reports, NDLEA operatives arrested the socialite at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on August 13, 2026, while he was reportedly preparing to travel to Paris.

His arrest came after the agency seized 184.5kg of cocaine from a courier company in Lagos.

“This cartel leader did not walk into our custody voluntarily; he intended to flee the country on a business-class flight to Paris,” the NDLEA chairman said.
