Kogi Guber: PDP’s Dino Melaye wins polling unit

The Kogi State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen Dino Melaye, has been declared the winner of his polling unit.

Melaye secured 210 votes, surpassing his primary rival, Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 22 votes.

Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) trailed behind with 7 votes.

The National Rescue Movement, People’s Redemption Party, African Democratic Party, 001, and Social Democratic Party received 001, 002, 001, and 001 votes respectively.

Previously, Melaye claimed that result sheets had been pre-filled at every polling unit in the Ogori/Magongo local government areas.
