The Lagos State House of Assembly began examining the cabinet nominees provided to them by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday, July 28 on Sunday.

By the end of Monday, an ad hoc committee of the House formed for the task had evaluated 20 of 39 nominees in an exercise that began on Sunday.

All cabinet nominees are scheduled to have been reviewed by Wednesday, when the process is expected to conclude.

On Sunday, the committee chaired by the House Chief Whip, Mojeed Fatai, screened Mobolaji Ogunlende, Dr Olajide Babatunde, Lawal Pedro, and Afolabi Ayantayo, the immediate-past Special Adviser to the Governor on Parastatals Monitoring.
