The High Courts in Lagos State, which have been on official recess for over one month, will resume sitting on September 26.
In unveiling the events to kickstart the 2023/2024 legal year in the state, Tajudeen Elias, the Acting Chief Registrar of the High Court, revealed that the thanksgiving service for the new legal year will take place concurrently at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, and the Lagos Central Mosque on Monday, September 25th.
Elias mentioned that following the mosque and church services at the High Court of Lagos, Osborne Foreshore Court Complex, Ikoyi Lagos, Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Kazeem Alogba, will conduct an inspection of the Guard of Honour.
