Lagos unveils new firefighting equipment

On Sunday, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu unveiled 62 brand new fire apparatus, including fire trucks and support vehicles.

The governor posted a video on Instagram of trucks and support vehicles lined up on Lagos streets.

He explained that the purchase was made to help the Lagos State Fire Department.

The governor wrote, “In order to empower the Lagos State fire department, we took delivery of 62 brand new fire apparatuses, consisting of fire trucks and support vehicles.”

All the fire trucks and Hilux vehicles were already numbered and had the inscription ‘Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service’ on them.
