The freshly recruited youths from Oyo State’s Oke-Ogun and Ogbomoso regions of the Nigeria Police Force were given the responsibility of being good ambassadors for their communities by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, who represents Oyo North Senatorial District in the Senate.
The legislator declared that all 65 of his constituents who had just been hired would join the countless others whose employment with the police he had recently secured.
Buhari also offered logistics, including financial aid, to all the beneficiaries in the ongoing 2021–2022 police recruiting training exercise to ensure their training was a big success.
During their six-month training period, he urged them to act properly.
The chosen candidates are we to begin their training excercise at the Police Training School in Ibadan between July 23 and July 30, 2022.
He said, “I am very happy and hereby congratulate our successful candidates in the just concluded police recruitment exercise. They all passed the final examinations and underwent the screening and medical stages successfully.
“I urge you all to be good ambassadors of Oyo North like your predecessors who just passed out early this month. I wish you well.”
Five slots were allocated to each of the 13 local governments in Oyo North, with Oke Ogun receiving the most with 50 slots.
