Like Deborah, Man burnt to death in Abuja over alleged blasphemy [Video]

A man has been stoned to death and lynched at the Lugbe Timber Shed, along Airport Road in Abuja over alleged blasphemy.

AIT reported that trouble started after an argument ensued between two vigilante operatives.

The argument led to the arrest of one of them.

The situation, however, went from bad to worse when friends of the vigilante operative arrested came pleading for his release.

After much argument, one of the vigilante operatives insisted that even if “God comes down”, he will not release the person arrested to go home.

The comment provoked the other group, which regrouped and brought down the vigilante office to rescue their man.

The group reportedly attacked, killed, and set ablaze the vigilante personnel who insisted that he will not release the arrested person from detention.

Security operatives have now been mobilized to the market, but shops are only scantily opened, with hopes that there would be no reprisal attack.

Recall that Deborah Samuel, a level-two student, was accused by the police of blaspheming the holy prophet Muhammad (SAW) in a social media post, beaten to death and then burned by Muslim students at the school for blasphemy.
