The Kwara State Police Command has arrested a 29-year-old man for allegedly killing and dismembering his pregnant sister-in-law, Mrs Esther Enemo, in the Temidire community of Ilorin.
Police spokesperson Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi confirmed the arrest in a statement on Saturday. She said the incident occurred on 21 August at Egbejila Road, Temidire.

The suspect, the younger brother of the victim’s husband, was reportedly seen leaving the house shortly before the discovery. He was later arrested in connection with the crime. The police have also contacted the husband for clarification.
The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
Commissioner of Police Ojo Adekimi has ordered a full-scale investigation, assuring the public that the perpetrators will face justice. The command urged residents to remain calm, avoid speculation, and continue to provide useful information to support security operations.
