Manchester United and Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen are reportedly set to part ways at the end of the season.
According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on his X account on Monday, there are currently no negotiations underway for a contract extension for the talented playmaker.
“No negotiations taking place over a new deal, while Rúben Amorim’s opinion will also be considered, but Eriksen’s expected to leave,” the post read.
Christian Eriksen, 32, signed a three-year contract with Manchester United in 2022 as a free agent.
Eriksen was also part of Denmark’s squad that suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to current European champions Spain in the ongoing Nations League games on Friday.
