Missing FUNAAB student found, admitted to hospital

The Ogun State Police Command on Monday morning announced that Solomon Destiny, the 200-level student of Animal Breeding and Genetics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, who was previously reported missing, has been located and is presently undergoing medical care at a confidential medical facility.

The state police command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, verified this information through a brief message sent to members of the press.

It says, “Thank you, esteemed members, of the press, your swift and proactive actions came to bear and I am very grateful for the widespread.

“I am happy to announce before you all that our beloved 200-level student has been found and is alive but currently receiving treatment.”

As a reminder, the Student Union Government of the university had previously reported that Solomon was last seen in Ogboja village near the Oluwo-Osiele area of Abeokuta. They had requested any helpful information that could assist in locating him.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Directorate of Public Relations at FUNAAB, Mr. Kola Adepoju, confirmed the incident and said, “Yes, our student is missing and our University Management has swung into action by reporting the development to relevant security agencies.”

“We want to assure the parents or guardians of our student that is missing, ditto his colleagues and the public, in general, that the university and security agencies are doing the needful to find him and bring him back to his parents and colleagues safely.”

Adepoju while confirming the cheering news said “Information is still scanty right now. I will get back later. Thank you.”
