MTN Nigeria Chair, Ernest Ndukwe loses 97-year-old mother

Dame Keziah Adaora Ndukwe, the 97 years-old mother of Chairman of MTN Nigeria Ernest Ndukwe, is dead.

A statement from the Ndukwe family by their patriarch, Dr. A. C. Ndukwe, indicated that a Commendation Service for the deceased will hold at 1.00 pm on May 6, at Our Saviours Church, Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.

This will be followed by a session of tributes at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The late Dame Ndukwe was born into the Nwokolo family and married into the Ndukwe family of Orafitie in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

A trained nurse, she was educated variously in Nigeria and overseas. She had a successful career in nursing, rising to the pinnacle of her profession and retired meritoriously as a matron.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws and other relations.
