“All authentic information from the Agency is communicated exclusively through the official NAFDAC website and recognised, verified communication channels,” the statement added.

The agency urged the public to remain vigilant, disregard fake announcements, and always verify information directly from official NAFDAC platforms.

This incident is part of a wave of fake government recruitment scams plaguing Nigeria in early 2026.

Similar warnings have been issued by other agencies recently, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
