The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has released the fare for the 2025 Hajj.
In a statement issued on Monday, the commission announced that intending pilgrims from the Southern states will pay N8.7 million, while those from the Borno and Adamawa zones are required to pay N8.3 million.
Pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.4 million for the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
NAHCON stated that the fare was determined after extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including the Presidency and state pilgrims’ boards.
The statement read, “The 2025 Hajj fare for Borno and Adamawa zone’s intending pilgrims is N8.33 million. Similarly, the cost for intending pilgrims from the Southern states is N8.78 million, while pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million.
“This modest effort was achieved after extensive consultations to ensure inclusivity in the decision-making process”
Prospective pilgrims were advised to adhere to Saudi guidelines, register early, and make timely payments to avoid inconveniences.
