NDLEA recovers illicit drugs in taxi driver’s apartment

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has raided the apartment of Godwin Ejiro, a taxi driver and had recovered cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud.

Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, shared this information on his Facebook page on Sunday.

According to Babafemi, Ejiro is involved in the illegal drug trade targeting young individuals, and he conceals the drugs within plastic tables in his room.

He said, “This fellow is a taxi driver but beneath that, he destroys the lives of innocent young people in the community selling them cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud. The shocker is where he hides the drugs in his house as the video here shows when #ndlea_nigeria officers raided his home.”

Just a week ago, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) made another significant discovery when its operatives found a hidden laboratory engaged in the production of Methamphetamine in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.

During the operation, several sachets of the drug, as well as the chemicals used in its production, were seized. The NDLEA operatives conducted the raid on Tuesday, June 6th, at No. 4 Bode Oluwo Street, Mende, Maryland Ikeja.

They successfully recovered one kilogram of methamphetamine that had already been produced and packaged.

The agency is currently making efforts to apprehend the owner of the house involved in the illegal operation.
