Niger state governor to submit 20 names for special advisers

Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, is set to submit a list of 20 names for approval as Special Advisers to the 10th House of Assembly.

This was revealed in a tweet by Magaji Bichi Ibrahim, the spokesperson for Niger State Governor.

“Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago said he will send 20 names of Special Adviser to the 10th State Legislature for approval immediately after their inauguration,” Ibrahim tweeted.

In a press release issued by his spokesperson, Ibrahim, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed the need for him and the residents of Niger State to put in extra effort to collectively build a better future.

The governor made this statement during a visit by a delegation of former National Assembly Members Forum from the state, who came to congratulate him.

He emphasized that the campaign period was over and it was time to develop strategies to improve the state’s condition.

“It is time for work, it’s going to work unusual and better, some policies will be tough but we are sure if we sustain them, they will take us to the desired destination.”

He, therefore, called for the support of all the residents of the state in collaboration with citizens outside the state to enable him to succeed.

Bago, however, pointed out that the all-inclusive policy of his administration has come to stay.

“In the spirit of a new Niger state we have to leave our doors opened, especially for people with experience and capacity,” he declared.
