Nigeria singer wows audience at 79th UNGA

Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, captivated the audience during a cocktail event held in celebration of United Bank for Africa’s (UBA) 75th anniversary.

The event coincided with the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Davido delivered an energetic performance, featuring popular hits such as “Aye,” “Skelewu,” and “Risky,” which had the audience singing along enthusiastically.

Notable attendees at the UNGA included Vice President Kashim Shettima, UBA founder Tony Elumelu, and other prominent figures, all gathered to discuss Africa’s future.

Prior to the event, Davido expressed his excitement on social media, sharing that it was his first time attending the UNGA and expressing hope for an engaging experience.
