In the Federal Capital Territory, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, won the election.
The All Progressives Congress’ Bola Tinubu and the People’s Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar were defeated in the Presidential elections by Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State.
In order to win each of the six area councils in the FCT, Obi received a total of 281,717 votes.

According to reports, Obi received 575,735 votes overall to win Lagos, while Tinubu received 573,001 votes.
The New Nigeria People’s Party’s Rabiu Kwankwaso received 8,8442 votes in contrast to Atiku Abubakar’s total of 75,750 votes.
