Nigerian Man stab sex worker in Delta

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a man in his twenties for allegedly stabbing a woman following a sexual encounter in Agbor, located in the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The suspect, identified only as Mr. Daniel, reportedly attacked the sex worker at the Apple Inn brothel, situated along the busy Benin/Asaba Expressway, on Friday night. The altercation began when he refused to pay the agreed fee, citing dissatisfaction after the third round of intercourse, claiming the woman had prevented him from ejaculating.

According to sources, the woman insisted on receiving the full payment, arguing that the man had been rough with her. In response, Mr. Daniel allegedly grabbed a knife, possibly from the woman’s kitchen, and stabbed her, dragging the knife downward as he attacked.

“The man was arrested by police officers after residents placed a distress call,” a source said.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was in critical condition when rushed to the hospital for treatment.

A senior officer at the Agbor Police Division confirmed the arrest, stating that officers were dispatched after receiving a distress call. Upon arrival, they found the victim lying in a pool of blood, while the suspect was nearly lynched by an angry mob.

When reached for comment, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe said that he had contacted the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Agbor, who promised to provide further updates but had not done so at the time of the report.
