NiMet predicts three day sunny, cloudy atmosphere conditions

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudiness and sunshine from Friday to Sunday across the nation.

With the exception of Taraba State, where isolated clouds may be seen during the forecast period, the northern area was expected to see clear skies and a cloudy atmosphere on Friday, according to the NiMet weather outlook announced in Abuja on Thursday.

The organization states that throughout the forecast period, sunny atmosphere patches of clouds are expected across the North Central area.

“The cloudy atmosphere is expected over the southern region, with prospects of morning thunderstorms over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.

Later in the day, scattered thunderstorms are predicted over portions of the states of Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa, Rivers, Edo, Delta, Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Abia, and Imo, according to the agency.

On Saturday, NiMet forecasted clear skies and a cloudy sky over the northern region, with the possibility of afternoon and evening thunderstorms over some areas of Kaduna state.

It predicted bright skies in the morning, with isolated clouds across the North Central region.
