NIPOST staff reject new CEO, shut down headquarters
Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) workers in Abuja shut down the service’s head office in protest of the appointment of Tola Odeyemi as its new Chief Executive Officer/Postmaster General, On Monday.
According to reports, President Bola Tinubu last Wednesday dismissed Sunday Adepoju, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Service.
The President conveyed this decision via a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, with the title: ‘’President Tinubu appoints new leadership across the communications, innovation, and digital economy sectors.’’
