No life lost in Niger Building Collapse- Emergency Agency

Over twenty hours after a one-story structure in Minna’s popular new market area collapsed, manual evaluation is still going on, but no one was killed.

According to a statement released on Saturday, the Director General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, Abdullahi Baba’arah, stated that no one is still trapped in the collapsed structure.

Bako Ismail, General Manager of the Niger State Urban Development authority, told media that the authority has given the building’s owner 24 hours to evacuate the site before beginning destruction of the collapsed structure.
