The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced plans to address allegations of naira abuse involving Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.
Tompolo was seen in a viral video, reportedly filmed during his 54th birthday celebration in April, where he danced while a man sprayed ₦1,000 notes on him.
The video sparked public outcry, with many Nigerians urging the EFCC to investigate the incident.
In response, the anti-corruption agency stated that the Niger Delta leader would be required to explain his involvement in the matter.
