The Nigerian actor popularly known as Janmole, Okiki Adeshina, has died following a tragic road accident.
Bolaji ‘Mr Latin’ Amusan, president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), confirmed the actor’s death in an Instagram post.
According to the TAMPAN president, the actor succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
Mr Latin also prayed for the repose of the late actor’s soul and asked God to grant strength and comfort to his family during the difficult period.
“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.
“May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen.”
The announcement drew an outpouring of condolences from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Paying tribute to the late actor, film star Jomiloju Olunbe recalled their final moments together on a movie set.

Janmole was widely recognised for his performances in Yoruba-language movies and had recently expanded into TikTok content creation, where he built a large following.
His notable film appearances include ‘Agunbaniro’, ‘Ìyàwó Asante’, and ‘Ọgbọ́n Inu’.
