The final rites were attended by close family members and a handful of Nollywood colleagues who came to pay their last respects. Aunty Ajara passed away after a long struggle with liver disease, a loss that deeply saddened the Nigerian film industry.

Following her passing, her management announced that donations were no longer needed and urged the public to stop sending money to the previously shared account details.
