The President of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA), Mr. Emeka Ogbu, has passed away.
Professor Mohammed Bawa, the Acting President of the association, announced this to reporters on Wednesday in Jos.

Bawa mentioned that Ogbu passed away on Monday after a short illness.
Reports state that Ogbu served as the Director of Sports at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and was elected as NUGA president in March 2022.
