Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, has declared the governorship primary election for the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ondo State inconclusive.
Ododo, who was appointed by the party’s national leadership to lead the state’s election committee, revealed in a statement late Saturday that “elections will be conducted in all the 13 Wards of Okitipupa Local Government with total validated registered members of 9,515” due to “validated reports that the exercise did not hold” in the LG.
The committee chairman said that the Okitipupa LG election would take held today, Sunday, April 21, 2024.
“The final collation of the results will be done thereafter, ” the statement noted.
