The Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, has passed away.
The sad news was confirmed in a statement on Saturday, 4 January 2025, by the Commissioner for Information, Wale Akinlosotu.
Oluwatuyi was hospitalised following a road accident on 15 December 2024, along the Ife-Ibadan Road.
“It is with profound sadness that the Government of Ondo State announces the passing of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, Secretary to the State Government, on 4 January 2025,” the statement read.
A Legacy of Dedication
Akinlosotu described the late SSG as a committed politician who played a pivotal role in Ondo State’s development.
“Hon. Oluwatuyi was a dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to administrative coordination, policy advisory, and implementation significantly impacted Ondo State,” he noted.
