The organisers of the Gino World Jollof Festival have announced a change of venue for the event, which will now be held at Eko Hotel Car Park B in Lagos on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Gino, the brand behind the highly anticipated festival, stated that the new location provides a larger and more prominent setting for the event, which will feature Chef Hilda Baci’s bold attempt to cook the World’s Largest Pot of Nigerian Jollof Rice. The spacious venue is expected to accommodate thousands of attendees, making it a major cultural and culinary celebration in the heart of Lagos.

In partnership with brand ambassador Hilda Baci, Gino aims to highlight Nigeria’s deep-rooted love for Jollof rice and its significance as a unifying cultural symbol across Africa. In addition to the record-breaking cooking attempt, the festival will include food exhibitions, cultural displays, live performances, and interactive experiences that celebrate Jollof rice as a powerful emblem of identity, unity, and tradition.
