Osinbajo presides over FEC meeting
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently in charge of the Federal Executive Council meeting at the state house in Abuja.
At least seven ministers were physically present at the FEC meeting this week, which got started at 10:05 a.m while others joined virtually from their various offices in Abuja.
Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo and his Power counterpart, Abubakar Aliyu conducted the opening Christian and Muslim prayers, respectively.
Boss Mustapha; Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan; Ministers of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed and Power, Abubakar Aliyu are present.
Others include Mariam Katagum, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment; Clem Agba, Minister of State for Budget and National Planning; Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labor and Employment; Joseph Ekumankama, Minister of State for Health; and Mustapha Shehuri, Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development.
President Muhammadu Buhari is not present because he is currently in Washington, DC, for the United States-Africa Leaders’ Summit.
