Vice President Yemi Osinbajo showed Vice President-Elect Kashim Shettima around his wing of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Shettima told State House media following the meeting said he came at Osinbajo’s request to exchange thoughts on how to move the country ahead.
Shettima claimed that he and President-Elect Bola Tinubu intend to strike the ground running from the start to guarantee that Nigerians feel the influence of their administration.
Tinubu and Shettima received National Honours from President Muhammadu Buhari earlier on Thursday.
Tinubu and Shettima were conferred with the National Honours of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON), respectively.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha who doubles as Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council also handed over the transition document to the duo ahead of the May 29 inauguration.
