Some Economic and Financial Crimes Commission operatives have stated that they are monitoring events in the ongoing Osun governorship election.
When voting began at Saint Peters Primary School Ward 1, Unit 1, Iragbiji, Osun state, about six operatives from the agency arrived.

Upon arrival, one of the operatives that were approached by our correspondent referred him to the leader of the team, who simply said, “we are here to observe and monitor happenings. No arrest yet.”
The said official, a woman however declined to mention her name and refused to comment further despite repeated efforts to get further clarification from her.
Also at Ward 1 Unit 2, Popo, Iragbiji, where Governor Adegboyega Oyetola voted, officials of EFCC were also sighted.
