The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has visited the family of Kazeem Animashaun, a prominent businessman from Eruwa who was killed by unidentified gunmen in the Wasinmi area of Iseyin Local Government Area.
Ogundoyin paid the condolence visit at the deceased’s residence in Orita, Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area, where he met with his wife, children and other relatives to sympathise with them over the tragic incident.
The Speaker expressed sadness over the killing, describing it as a painful and disturbing development.
He also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family, acknowledging the difficulty of coping with the sudden and violent death of their loved one.
Ogundoyin called on security agencies to intensify efforts to investigate the attack, identify those responsible and ensure they are brought to justice.
He emphasised the need for a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and prevent the perpetrators from evading justice.
The Speaker further urged security agencies to strengthen measures aimed at safeguarding lives and property across Oyo State, stressing the need for decisive action and coordinated efforts to tackle violent crimes.
