Pakistani Plane with 107 passengers on board crashes on landing

A Pakistan International Airlines plane has crashed into houses in Karachi.

It has 99 passengers and 8 crew onboard

The Airbus 320 aircraft departed from Lahore.

It crashed near Jinnah International Airport.

Pakistan’s Sindhnews reported that the plane crashed in the Model Colony, a residential area.

” We are trying to confirm the number of passengers.

“But for now it is 99 passengers and eight crew members,” said Abdul Sattar Khokhar, the spokesman for the aviation authority.

Reports said the accident was caused by the failure of the landing gear.
