Pastor advises wives on how to handle cheating husbands

Nigerian preacher Pastor Bolaji Idowu has delivered a thought-provoking warning to wives whose husbands engage in infidelity.

He recently preached and urged ladies to deal with their boyfriends’ infidelity in a different way.

He recommended that spouses use their words to declare righteousness and optimism into their lives, rather than complaining or calling their husbands adulterers. He thinks that by doing this, ladies might assist their spouses in kicking the habit of cheating.

The pastor places a strong emphasis on the importance of spoken words, saying that unfavourable confessions might make the situation worse. He counselled ladies to remind their husbands of who they are in Christ and to speak light and truth into their lives.

In his own words, he said:

“Any small thing my husband is a serial cheater. What you are saying is a problem also because you are adding to his problem by confessing it. If your husband is a cheater, confess righteousness out of him. Look at him with tears, ‘Honey, I know what you did. I know it was very bad but you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are a Holy man of God.

The reason for this is every time there is darkness, we speak light. You call it out of him, next time when he’s driving and he sees that lady with the ikebe, the head will say look, he will say ‘I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The reason why he is everybody rises to words and falls to words”.
