…demand response to alleged N1bn graft received in Lagos from a candidate

…says ‘we want forensic audit on use of proceeds from sales of forms’

…£5m property in London

…why Ayu must go before he buries PDP

A group under the aegis of Concerned PDP League, CPDPL has called on Nigerians and critical stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to urgently ask embattled chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu where he sourced money to renovate his properties in Benue and Abuja simulteniously after primaries.

The group in a statement issued and signed by its coordinator, Gabriel Agbolahor without mincing words poopoohed the sudden colouration of returned monies by noble members of NWC to housing allowance.

Apparently peeved by the twist and naked lies being perpetuated by a faceless insider in PDP, the group demands an immediate audit on the monies recovered from sales of forms which sum is reasonably within public knowledge now.

“It’s no longer news that Ayu collected N1bn from a presidential candidate in Lagos, an urgent response is begging for an answer from him.

“Let him tell Nigerians that he didn’t collect the money in question at the same time he should let Nigerians know where he sourced money from to buy a £5m property in UK.

“He should explain the kind of emergency contract he executed after he became PDP chairman that fetched him so much that he renovated his house and schools in Abuja, Benue his home state simulteniously and bought a property in London.

“This is aside plethora of brand new bullet proof SUVs and saloon cars being used by himself and his family members.

“NWC members should acknowledge that Ayu disclosed the Lagos N1bn and tell critical stakeholders in PDP and Nigerians how it was shared perhaps as seating allowance amongst them.

“We demand to know how much he solicited and obtained from several business men on behalf of NWC of the party and how he distributed the monies amongst NWC members, perhaps as overtime allowance. Records of some of such monies are becoming available.

“All the above posers are begging for answers from Ayu as monies shared now are clothed as housing allowance as being speculated by an insider hatchet man and the Publicity Secretary.

“The earlier Ayu leaves the confines of the PDP headquarters the better for us to start reasoning like true PDP stalwarts.

Finally, Ayu should tell us the source of fund for the purchase of over N1bn property in Abuja within this period.
