Ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri, has finally delivered on his promise.
Three days ago, Reno pledged to dance in the event of the Supreme Court rejecting the appeal submitted by the Labour Party candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, in the February 2023 general election.
In a unanimous ruling by a panel of seven Justices, the Supreme Court dismissed Obi’s appeal to invalidate President Bola Tinubu’s election, deeming it lacking in merit.
Delighted by the Supreme Court’s decision, Omokri took to his Twitter account, X Platform, to celebrate with a spirited dance. He emphatically conveyed to Obi that the presidency of Nigeria would remain out of his reach, asserting that he had never endured the hardships he experienced at the hands of Obi’s supporters, who he referred to as the ‘Obidients’.
His words: “Since I was born, I have never suffered what I suffered in the hands of the Obidients. Peter Obi, you will never be president of Nigeria”
