The management of Lead British International School in Abuja has issued a strong condemnation of the deplorable bullying incident that took place on its campus.

Earlier, Newsclick reported a significant uproar across various social media platforms following a bullying incident involving a female student at the school.

In response to the incident, numerous netizens have taken to social media to express their condemnation and call for the school to take decisive action against the perpetrators.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Head of Abuja School, Abraham Ogunkambi, assured the public that the school management is treating the matter with the utmost seriousness.

Ogunkambi emphasized that the school has already reached out to the victim and her parents, offering comprehensive support and counseling services to help them cope with the emotional and psychological aftermath of the incident.

The school head confirmed that the perpetrators will receive counseling services in addition to facing disciplinary measures to address their misconduct.

Ogunkambi also revealed that a special panel has been set up to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident and any other claims of bullying at the school.
