Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abuja Zonal Command on Wednesday, arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters.
Dele Oywale, the commission’s Head of Media & Publicity, stated that the arrests occurred in the Apo, Gwarimpa, and Katampe areas of Abuja based on credible intelligence concerning their alleged engagement in internet fraud.

Confiscated items from the suspects included 43 phones of various brands, six vehicles, and two smartwatches.
Oywale mentioned that the suspects would be prosecuted following the completion of investigations.
