An early morning fire has destroyed the sole market in Trademore Estate, Lugbe, Abuja.
The fire reportedly began around 3:30 a.m. when the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) restored power.
However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
As of the time of reporting, Channels Television could not confirm the extent of the damage.
Two hours after the fire began, personnel from the Federal Fire Service, dispatched from the EFCC and Sauka stations, managed to extinguish the blaze.
