The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.

Ahmad Bashir, a former media aide to the ex-president, shared the update on X, noting that Buhari welcomed the monarch on Wednesday.

Bashir also shared photos of the visit, highlighting that the former president accompanied the Ooni of Ife and his entourage to the historic Daura Emir’s Palace.

 

“Today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), was in Daura with his entourage to visit former President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Before leaving Daura, the former president led the Ooni of Ife and his entourage to the historic Daura Emir’s Palace,” Ahmad said.
