Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is scheduled to appear for a plea hearing in the United Kingdom on February 8, 2027, while his trial is set to commence on March 8, 2027.

Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, disclosed this after attending the court proceedings on Tuesday.

“I was in court today, as I mentioned in my last tweet, regarding the case involving one of our Nigerian brothers, Poco Lee,” Kuti said.

Kuti confirmed that Poco Lee was on remand in a UK prison and was expected to appear in court in September for a plea hearing.

Kuti has now disclosed that the plea hearing will take place on February 8, 2027, while the trial is scheduled to begin on March 8.

He urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course and refrain from passing judgment based on allegations or information circulating in the public domain.

“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and that principle must be respected throughout the entire process,” he said.
