The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has invited candidates who applied for its 13th Regular Course to take part in a screening exercise beginning on September 9, 2026.
The academy announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad.
The statement advised applicants to print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8.
The screening, which includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical assessment, medical examination and Selection Board interview, is scheduled to hold from September 9 to September 18.
The CBT examination will be conducted in batches based on candidates’ states of origin.
Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi states are scheduled for the first batch on September 9.
The second batch, scheduled for September 10, comprises Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta states.
The third batch, on September 11, covers Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo states.
Candidates from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina states will take the CBT on September 12, while those from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa states are scheduled for September 13.
The sixth batch, on September 14, comprises Niger, Ogun, Ondo and Osun states, while Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba states are scheduled for September 15.
Candidates from Yobe and Zamfara states will take the CBT on September 16.
The academy said candidates must present the “original and photocopies of their Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, letter of identification, properly completed and signed guarantor’s form, medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs and application acknowledgement slip.”
It said candidates must wear a white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes during the exercise.
The academy advised candidates to arrive a day before their scheduled examination dates and said they would be accommodated within the academy throughout the screening period.
It also said parents would not be allowed into the academy during the exercise.
The statement urged candidates to refer to the POLAC Admission Portal for further information and warned them against fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.
