Police arrest alleged mastermind of Abuja-Kaduna train attack

In a significance development, the Nigeria Police Force has reported the arrest of Ibrahim Abdullahi, commonly known as Mandi, the alleged mastermind of the March 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made the revelation during a press briefing in Kaduna State, as reported by The Will on Thursday.

According to ACP Adejobi, the arrest of Abdullahi, alias Mandi, marks a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the heinous attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train. During the operation leading to his apprehension, law enforcement agents seized 48 AK-47 rifles. Investigations are currently underway to uncover Abdullahi’s alleged sponsors and suppliers of the weapons used in the attack.
